Well rat-a-tat-tat and what do you know? It's been an entire YEAR already, hasn't it? Ha, and do you remember that whole challenge I created for myself at the beginning of 2011? Yeah, that "draw every day in the year 2011 with each day having a different theme" thing ringing any bells? Needless to say, I could not complete said challenge for many reasons: I was asked to create a children's book for a dear friend of mine, I had loads of homework for classes, and I ran into someone called the Doctor. Sorry, after Torchwood I became incredibly and hopelessly devoted to watching Doctor Who, starting with the 9th Doctor and his lovable big-eardness.

Oh my god she's become one of THOSE people.

Calm down, I watch it when I get a chance, I'm not all cooped up in a dark corner of my room just glued to my laptop day in and day out - I DO go outside, I DO exercise, and I DO take the time to complete all my illustration homework.

And golly, this next semester I'll be swamped with such classes as Illustration Series, Advanced Digital Illustration, Illustration Special Topics on Fantasy and SciFi, Jewelry Making, and Music Appreciation. Aside from those last two, I bet I'll have LOADS of things to put up from those classes to prove that I am making an effort haha!

So, if my gallery seems rather lacking from this past year, that's why. Sorry to fill your heads with promises of a brand new year of 365 brand new drawings, but I'll try my best to at least upload more of what I do from THIS year! Yay! (insert Kermit flail here)

In the meantime, I hope you all had a smashing 2011 and I know I'm super excited to dive right into 2012!
